Before signing up

There are lots of contractor umbrella offerings that are available now. They have their own way of enticing you in joining them; however before even signing up in a certain contractors umbrella you should consider some factors, the first is to find out their fee structure. The fee structure is the amount that is being charged by the company to the contractors, questions like “Will I pay them a fixed rate? Or “Will I give them a percentage of my earnings” can arise. Another thing to be considered is their insurance cover. Typically you would expect a Professional Indemnity insurance and an employers and public liability cover.
